J. Scott Rodeghiero
Scott is a senior claims associate of Montclair Risk Advisors. He has contributed to several of our client assignments. Most recently, he was the lead claim auditor on a major TPA review in behalf of a municipal self-insurance fund.
Other projects include reviewing for us class action silcosis suits in an M&A Due Diligence review and reviewing claim notices in an asbestos product liability assignment. Scott and Doug Hartman have also worked together on engagements directed by our Alliance Partner, Richard A. Schacht.
Scott has 40 years of property/casualty claims experience. He has been the chief claims officer of four insurance companies, including John Hancock and KWELM. He has also been a senior claim consultant at Ernst & Young LLP. He has provided claim advice to more than 200 insurance companies and industrial customers and conducted more than 400 field claim audits.
Additionally, he has given expert witness testimony in trials and arbitration proceedings. His areas of expertise include asbestos, automobile, medical malpractice, pollution and product liablity.
